The clamps on the truck-mounted lift are wide and strong, covered in rubber, so they hold even the most unusual frames firmly without damaging the paint or wiring. Of course, this gadget isn't without its drawbacks. A power outage leaves me helpless, requiring a spare battery or manual lowering. And it's not cheap, requiring more maintenance than a manual lift. But overall, for repair shops like ours that are constantly busy, an electric lift is definitely a "hardcore" investment. It makes my work faster, easier, and safer. Considering the extra work it helps me get and the money saved on medication for my back, I think it's worth the money. If your shop handles more than ten cars a day, you should really consider upgrading your equipment; it will elevate your work experience to a whole new level.
